Oxygen regulators are medical devices that regulate the flow of oxygen from the main source to the device connected at the outlet, such as a hose. The M1 Series regulators by Western are single-stage regulators that allow the user to reduce the delivery pressure, or outlet pressure, by turning the knob on the regulator. Some M1 series regulators come preset with an outlet pressure of 50 PSI which does not allow the user to make adjustments and keeps the delivery pressure constant at all times.

The M1-540-15FG Oxygen Regulator by Western is a preset flow control regulator. This regulator has a flow gauge that displays the LPM flow, as well as a gauge that displays the level of gas pressure in the tank. A flow control regulator allows the medical professional to control the LPM of oxygen being administered to a patient between 2 – 15 LPM. This regulator comes preset at 50 PSI, so it does not have the ability to adjust delivery pressure. The CGA540 inlet is nut and nipple style and does require a wrench to tighten or loosen. The DISS 1240 outlet is a 90 degree elbow with nipple connection allowing you to connect your oxygen hoses directly to the regulator.
