These regulators are specialty medical devices used to help regulate the flow of gas from the source to the device being connected to the outlet of the regulator. The M1 Series regulators by Western are single-stage regulators that allow the delivery pressure, also referred to as outlet pressure, to be adjusted. In some cases, the M1 series regulators come preset with an outlet pressure of 50 PSI, this keeps the regulator’s delivery pressure constant at all times.
The M1-540-15FGH is a preset, flow control regulator that comes with a flow gauge, which displays the LPM flow, as well as a gauge that displays the level of gas pressure in the tank. This regulator allows the medical professional to control the LPM of oxygen being administered to a patient between 2 – 15 LPM. This regulator comes preset at 50 PSI so it does not have the ability to adjust delivery pressure. The 90 degree DISS 1240 outlet allows you to easily connect your medical oxygen hose. The CGA540 hand tight wheel makes it easy to tighten and loosen the inlet connection without the use of a wrench.
